The Father says today, I Am with you and will never leave you or forsake you. You have asked Me how to "wait upon the Lord." That is a question I am prepared to answer today. "Waiting upon the Lord" is more about what you do not do and why, than it is an attitude of rest or passivity. The enemy is looking for a reaction out of you today. The only way the enemy knows you are still in his grip is if you are wriggling in his grasp. Do not give him that privilege. No matter what storms of emotion and turmoil seize you in your current situation, learn to laugh the laugh of faith.
Remember the testimony of My word that "He that sits in the heavens shall laugh?" You are not in the grip of the circumstance this day, says the Father. You are seated with Me in heavenly places far above all the works of darkness. Learn to live and to navigate the pressures of life without reacting. Do not react with your words or your actions. Wait upon Me. Wait upon My go-ahead to speak. Wait upon My go-ahead to act. Then in your acting and speaking, I will enter in and devastate the enemy's plans laid against you. You are an overcomer today, says the Father. Now arise and overcome!
DAILY PRAYER
Dear Lord,
Thank you, Lord, that you did not leave us empty-handed. That I have the truth of your word to depend on to navigate us through this world. Father, I ask that you would give Me your mind. Help me to filter everything that comes across my mind through your perspective. I want a mind like Christ and want to be transformed through the renewing of my mind. I ask that the Holy Spirit please reveal to me anything I am listening to or watching that is feeding my mind negative thoughts that I may be unaware of. Please protect my mind and prompt me in those moments to rid myself of anything that is not focused on you.
Lord, I ask that you change the way I think. That you would please guide me into your path you have for me. That the voices I hear and the things I set my sight on would be honoring to you. Help me to think on things above, not on things of this world. (Colossians 1:3). As your word says in Philippians 4:9, remind me “to think on things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, are of good report…anything praiseworthy, to think on such things.” I want to honor you in all that I do. I love you, Lord. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
