Doug Addison
Over the past few weeks, the Lord has been directing me to pray and decree Bible verses.
This month is similar, but there’s also greater power, anointing … and authority to pray, praise and decree the Bible! This is also a time to re-fire in the Holy Spirit.
The keys for this month are to worship, praise, be patient and consistent.
Know that the Lord is fighting your battles and contending for what you need!
Powerful warring and helper angels
Peace, power and protection are here!
This is a time of restoration and encouragement.
Right now, helper and warring angels are being assigned to us.
Do not give up!
The power of God’s love
One thing God has spoken, two things I have heard: “Power belongs to you, God, and with you, Lord, is unfailing love”; and, “You reward everyone according to what they have done.” Psalm 62:11–12 NIV
This month especially, there is power and love from the Lord…His love for us and through us.
This is a time of restoration and encouragement. Power, singing and praise to the Lord
Shout for joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious. Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you. All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing the praises of your name.” Psalm 66:1–4 NIV
There’s power in singing and there’s power in praise!
The Lord is fighting your battles
Contend, Lord, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me. Psalm 35:1 NIV
The Lord is fighting our battles and bringing us the help we need.
Enter with praise
Enter into the Lord’s presence through praise.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100:4–5 NIV
“He Has Made Me Glad” is one of my favorite worship songs. There is new power on this song!
I’ve been using this psalm and song to praise the Lord and give thanks.
Protection for you
As we enter into joy, the Lord will place protection over you.
But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. Psalm 5:11 NIV
As you sing and enter into the joy of the Lord, the Lord is going to release greater power and protection over us.
Prayer:
Lord, we just praise Your name. We give thanks for all that You’re doing and what You’re about to do! Lord, we ask that You would release Your power. Release Your love and praise. We pray right now that You would battle over us and contend with our enemies. Right now, release Your protection. Open the Bible to us. Speak to us to be able to hear Your voice in a greater way. We pray that You would bring greater power, peace, encouragement, patience and protection. In the name of the true Jesus.
A powerful time
The Lord is moving and doing something new! It’s a time to press into the Lord! It’s also a time to ask for what you need.
Wait on the Lord, pray and rest, but also battle as the Lord leads.
This truly is a time of change for the good!
Strategy
You can use Bible verses and pray in agreement with the Lord. Also, it’s very powerful if you pray in agreement with others. Repent for anything you might have “in common” and go through forgiveness.
Prayer:
Lord, we repent, renounce and break anything we have “in common” that might be stopping the breakthrough or holding back the things that we need to do. We repent, renounce and break, including any soul ties all the way back, or anything we may have done, knowingly or unknowingly. We ask, Lord, to forgive others. If there’s any unforgiveness in our hearts, we pray that You would show us anything that needs to be cleared out. We pray this in the name of the true Jesus.
Can we pray for you? With God all things are possible and all things are possible to those who believe. We want to stand with you and lift your needs before the Lord. This is the confidence we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us, and if we know He hears us, we know we have the petitions we desired of Him. You can submit a prayer request or request for a Prophetic word here.
